Yaaaaaaaaaarg! What be yer pirate name?!

So, I know this isn’t related to adventure gaming, except for the fact that I like pirate (as seen in my logo above) AND there are a LOT of pirates in adventure games…. and when I say a LOT, I mean, more like one. Guybrush Threepwood. He sure was a mighty pirate. And by mighty… I mean more like mediocre, but he was entertaining. I know I was entertained, except for maybe the last MI… which was just… weird. I like my adventure characters 2d, not 3d! If I wanted 3d, I’d get on my awesome mage gnome on World of Warcraft and go kick the crap out of some Horde scum!

Or not… I’m not very good at that whole PVP thing, plus I don’t like killing people. It’s just rude. Especially when they spit on you afterwards. What’s up with that? Why would they even have spitting as an emote on there? The WoW people didn’t think THAT one through all the way. Despicable really.

Furthermore, I like the Horde… I have a Horde character, an Orc Shaman if you must know, but the Horde lands are so… ugly. I guess that’s the girl in me. Damn the girls.

Anyways… I think I’ve rambled enough. I found this really cool website in which one can take a quiz and it will tell them what their pirate name is! The quiz itself is pretty entertaining with questions such as “Do others consider you charming” and answers like “Phrases like ‘the pants off’ have been known to apply.” Haha… now that I look at it, it doesn’t look that funny in this context, but I swear it’s entertaining.

After you have completed the test, you get your name and a little description of what you’re like. Here’s mine:

I do like me some fighting (unless you look at my whole ramble above about me and WoW and PVP… then you know that I’m not really into fighting, but I have to keep this certain persona up, damnit!)! This is a perfect generator for any of you out there who wish to take to the open seas, but don’t have the imagination for creating yourself a name. Like me.
