Three Web Comics
I have a vice… Oh yes, I do. Well, I’m sure I have many vices, which include sordid affairs with leprechauns and an affinity for Siamese twins. Not that there’s anything wrong with either of these two vices… Right? RIGHT?!
Right. Hey, don’t talk about me behind my back… this means you, scumbag.
Anyways… As I said, I have a vice, besides the leprechauns and Siamese twin thing… and it’s called “Web comics”. Now, I’m very picky about my webcomics. They have to have the same, weird assed, type of humor that I so dearly possess. And… um, that’s about it. I don’t even care what they look like, as long as they’re funny. I am not hard to please people. I just need HUMOR. What’s the point of reading a comic if there is no humor? I have not yet found out why a comic like Cathy is still in publication. I just don’t get it. Maybe it’s some type of dark, adult humor that I don’t seem to have. When will I become an adult who will enjoy such comics!? HUH?! WHEN?!
I’ve only found a few webcomics that meet these needs. I’ve posted in the past about a webcomic called Epic Saga, which I so dearly love… but the updating on this comic is minimal at best. If you don’t constantly update, I grow bored and will weep. Actually, I just went to go check out this comic and apparently, it isn’t even a webcomic anymore. Dude, that sucks. I so liked that adventure feeling that comic gave me. Man… I feel as though my life is over.
But, it’s not! For there are other comics that I like! I thought that I would post them on this here blog, so that my wonderful followers could have a good humored day.
The first comic is called Order of the Stick by Rick Burlew. Order of the Stick is a comic based off the rules of Dungeons and Dragons, so throughout the entire strip, they’re constantly doing checks or gaining levels or just basically having fun with all that is Dungeons and Dragons. It’s a highly sarcastic strip and if read from start to finish in one sitting, will cause you to die from laughter. Okay, it won’t make you laugh THAT much, but it’s still funny.
What’s so great about this strip is that it is usually updated three times a week, so there is plenty of story development and sarcasm. Mmm, I love it. Also, I love the style in which the comic is drawn. The characters are stick figures. It’s AWESOME.
See what I mean:

I know it’s hard to read. Go read the comic!
Mmm, stick figure goodness.
Now, the people who host Order of the Stick, Giant in the Playground Games, has actually start to post a brand new comic that just came out last week. I just read the first few strips this morning and I am pleased to announce that this looks like it’ll be an AWESOME strip. The name of the strip is called Erfworld, which is written by a Rob Balder and drawn by Jamie Noguchi. The humor seems to be humorous and the art is actually… arty.
Take a look at this piece:

I don’t generally approve of nut busting, but this was funny
I wonder if this is the guy who has caused the world to become over populated with pigeons. A-hole.
There is another comic I read called Dr. McNinja by Chris Hastings. This comic is just… umm… weird. But as you know, I like weird. Weird is what brings home the bacon… or something. Anyways… This comic is about a doctor, who is also an Irish Ninja. Which is where the name Dr. McNinja comes from. As with anything to do with ninjas, there are lots of pirates in these comics. You can’t have a ninja story without pirates, can you? I think it’s impossible and I’m pretty sure it’s against the law in like three states.

Only a ninja could have avoided that mess.
So, there you have it. My favorite comics. Can you tell there’s no news?
