Wow… I find this hard to believe and kind of funny. According to The International House of Mojo, the LucasArts legal team has filed a trademark infringement suit against the popular domain Digg. Apparently this is LucasArts problem:

THE DIGG mark is confusingly similar in sound, meaning, and appearance to the Opposer’s THE DIG mark.

The reason for this filing is that Digg could possibly be confused for the 12 year old LucasArts game The Dig. Ummm, what? Are you serious? I don’t think the two could ever be confused. One is a VIDEO game and the other is a user submitted content site. I am so confused. I told you all that LucasArts is filled with a bunch of aholes that have nothing better to do than bully people. Jerks.

You know… if I went to Digg’s site and what I was looking for was The Dig and I just didn’t find it on Digg’s website, guess what I would do? Go to Google and DO A SEARCH. Idiots.
