Overruled! A New Ace Attorney Trailer!

For fans of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series, I have good news for you. Phoenix Wright may have retired from the stand, but a new attorney is on his way to point fingers and blame the guilty for their wrong doings. His name? Apollo Justice.

With a name like “Apollo Justice”, there’s no way he’s going to lose a trial and that’s a good thing… because this is his first trial. And I hear he hates to lose.

Let’s take a look at the trailer, shall we?

As you can see in the trailer, there are a wide variety of cast members, such as the mysterious magician, Tracy. And truth be told, if you’re going to win a trial, you’d better have a mysterious magician at your side, or you’re sure to be screwed. Tracy’s only magic is that she can cheer Apollo on through the worst times in his case with such one liners as “You can’t give up, Apollo! Got it!?” I mean, she uses the combination of !? quite well. Apollo will never lose this case.

Unfortunately for Apollo, though, he only has one weapon. And with this one weapon, I’m not sure even the best of attorney’s could get out of a bad situation. His one weapon? “A passionate heart burning red”.

What the hell does that mean? Is he going to squirt blood on the defendant, hoping they just give up the trial? What it really means is that Apollo must find the truth to bring this killer with a beanie down. I mean… of course he’s a killer. He’s wearing a beanie, for Gods Sakes. And the beanie has a yellow face on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy was a serial killer. Who wears beanies to court? Just take a look:

And this hard assed mother? Well, he’s actually Phoenix Wright. MAN, there are TOO MANY loops being thrown!

I haven’t heard of a release date yet for the game, but let it be known that this game will be coming out for the Nintendo DS. Get your stylus and brains ready, or Apollo just might scream “OBJECTION”.
