Well, this is cool… If you’re a fan of adventure games (and I’m assuming you are since you have come to read my lovely site) AND you have the game Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the Nintendo DS, then you’ll be happy to know that you can now download new stories to add to your Professor Layton playing repertoire. That’s right… not only do you not have to play the same game over and over again, but the developers of Professor Layton and the Curious Village wish to pull you into their wicked grasps and take over your mind using the newest Nintendo DS downloadable content technologies.

Isn’t that creepy?

Apparently the Japanese have been getting tons of Professor Layton content to lay their grubby little paws on, so really it comes as no surprise that English versions of these new mini-stories would be hitting our English speaking grubby little paws. Pretty freaking sweet. I love the internet and downloadable content!

Downloading the content is simple. All you need is the following:

Seriously, anyone can do it.

Argh, you should try Professor Layton, Amber. This game is insanely fun and insanely difficult at the same time. It’s like enjoying being whacked on the face with a shovel, but in a good way.

I can’t stop playing the damn game.

The imagery you have left me with is very interesting. I heard that’s how that game Puzzle Quest is too. My brother played it while he had the flu because he was so addicted to it. Now he can’t play it, because it reminds him of the flu. Strange how that works.

It makes perfect sense! Ergo, Puzzle Quest is the perfect game to keep your brother company when he has the flu.

That’s a pretty useful game, methinks.
