New DS Game Out - Touch Detective 2½
If you have a DS and you’re a fan of adventure games, then you’ll be happy to know that there is yet another Nintendo DS headed your way. This one is a sequel to the ever and so very popular Touch Detective. They have ingeniously named this game, Touch Detective 2½ . I mean, seriously. Adding the ½ to the end of “Touch Detective 2″ was an awesome move. I bet they sell more copies of the game just because of that.
At least the trailer looks cute. If you’re into cute:
Do you know what’s great about the game? The ESRB Content rating. I mean, it’s rated “E For Everyone”, but they label the game as having “Comic Mischief”. I love mischief. Especially when it’s used in a comic way.
Here are some of the “key features” of the game, that I found over at Gamespot:
- A hilariously off-beat story spanning 5 Episodes! Longer, wittier, and more entertaining than the first Touch Detective, the new plot develops over the course of 5 interrelated chapters, each playing off the one before.
- Over twice the locations to visit and all-new characters to compliment the returning cast from the original!
- Cromwell, Penelope, and even your trusty sidekick Funghi all make a return in Touch Detective 2½, and if you want to get to the bottom of the mystery, you will need their help!
- More unlockables! Solve side quests and complete an all-new Touch List and Investigation Report to gain access to new music and art!
The game can be found at your local gamery for the low price of $29.99. How can you beat that?
