Monkey Island Radio
If you’re bored, which I’m sure you are, because you’re here and not doing something more exciting like pulling leeches off your naked body, why don’t you go Nightlight Productions? Why would you want to do that? Well, because they have a pretty entertaining radio show entitled Beneath Monkey Island. I think it’s funny that the initials of Beneath Monkey Island are BMI… Why? Because anytime I see “BM”, I think “bowel movement” and we all know how funny bowel movements are. HILARIOUS.
The guy who does the voices for the Monkey Island characters, Matthew Smith, does a pretty good job, though I think his Guybrush needs to be a little more upbeat. The guy sounds downright depressed! Matthew Smith used to host a radio show somewhere in Australia until they kicked his butt off the air, because he was too cheeky, I’m sure. Or maybe not. I’m not really sure why they kicked him off the air, because I’m not from Australia. But I’m sure it was a stupid reason anyways, because radio stations suck. A lot.
So, if you have nothing better to do, listen to the three episodes that are up on Nightlight Production’s website. If anything, it’ll kill about 20 minutes of your time.
