Mojo gives us the Scans…
The International House of Mojo, my friends in adventure gaming, have made life easier for you and me, once again. They have put several scans up from different magazines featuring Sam and his hare raising side kick, Max.
They’ve got an article from these various sources:
- Edge Magazine - This article gives a lot of praise to LucasFarts and how Sam and Max got their start as a point ‘n click adventure. It also has a bunch of information about other LucasArts point and click adventures. Can’t get better than old school LucasArts, now can we?
- Game Developers Convention - This one was given out at GDC 2006 and gives a little back ground information on what we were to expect from the first season of Sam and Max. Now that the season’s over, we have no more expectin’ to do. In it, you will see some concept art and a picture of the entire TellTale group. Man, Dave Grossman is short. Or maybe he’s standing on a hill… hmmm.
- And then there’s this one. I’m not really sure where it’s from, but it’s definitely an article depicting Sam and Max from Sam and Max Hit the Road. Those were good times.
Take a look at the scans here if you’re interested. I love when people put magazine scans up, because I generally hate buying magazines. And then by the time Ihear about an interesting article, I go out to my favorite book store to buy it and it’s already GONE. Plus, why would I pay $10 for one article that I’ll probably find interesting? It’s like buying a whole cd, because you like one song on there. Ridiculous! Maybe someone needs to come up with a magazine type iTunes where I can buy one article at a time for $.99 if I’m really interested in it. Hmmm, maybe I have a new idea!
