Mmm… Oblivion goodness

While hop, skipping and jumping around the grand Gamasutra site, I noticed a news article they put up yesterday about a new content piece for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion called Knights of Nine. Oblivion is a wonderfully sculpted peice of gaming and it’s awesome to know that they’re coming out with new content, because quite frankly, you can’t get enough of Oblivion. It’s so purty.
According to Gamasutra, the expansion pack will be available for download for both the xBox360 and the good ol’ thing I like to call a personal computer or PC for those who aren’t up to speed with their computer lingo. The downloads will become available on November 21st, to the excitement of many RPG nerds. The retail version that will be out in stores of the Knights of Nine will also have all downloadable content you can get off of Oblivion’s download site up to that point. These downloads include such as thusly:
Horse Armor, The Orrery, Wizard’s Tower, Vile Lair, Thieves Den, Mehrunes’ Razor, and Spell Tomes
And if you’re wondering about what else you’ll get with this package, this is what I found on the news release from the Oblivion website:
Knights of the Nine features an all-new faction and quests for noble characters and answers many of the questions surrounding the Ayleid ruins found throughout Oblivion. Players can join a new faction and found their own order of holy knights – leading them into battle against a sorcerer-king and his demonic minions while exploring massive dungeons and searching for legendary relics – the holy armor and weapons of the Divine Crusader.
May your future be bright, young knights.
