March Issue of Game Developer - Featuring Sam and Max

According to Gamasutra, the March issue of the very popular game development magazine, Game Developer has been issued and on the very front cover is a lovely little image done by a Mr. Steve Purcell of our lovable dog and rabbity thing: Sam and Max. This issue talks in depth about the episodic process of Sam and Max, which is something that’s almost been talked about too much, but still not enough not to be put into a world syndicated magazine.

Here is a quote from Gamasutra as such:

Do the words “episode one” still make you groan from the 12 times you watched all the Star Wars movies in one session? To developers, they signify a new day. Telltale Games, working with Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell, embarked on a months-long journey to create a game series that would be episodic in both content and distribution cycle. A handful of company insiders share how the plan came to fruition and what measures they took to adapt to the new schedule.

The magazine also talks about players of games and their despicable thievery as well as the oh so very popular topic of digital distribution, which really goes well with the Sam and Max topic, seeing as their all digitalized and such. There is, however, no mention of porn whatsoever. Or there might be. I don’t know. I have not gotten the March edition of Game Developer. Seeing that it is a gaming magazine, though, I have come to the conclusion that there is little to no porn. Unless we’re talking about the half naked chicks that people like to put into their games. Then I’m sure there is a lot of that.
