LucasArts Has Games with Crap Storylines? Noooo…
As I was checking out my RSS feeds, an interesting feeds, at least interesting to me, came by way of The International House of Mojo. In this brief little posting, by jp-30, according to an interview done with Jim Ward, President of Lucasarts, Ward has this to say about George Lucas:
George is always on us about this,”"It’s like, `Guys, you’re showing me great technology, and then you go and try to wrap a story around it. And the story’s really thin, and then it’s not fun. Forget the tech for a second. I assume you’ll be able to figure out the tech. Come in with a great story.’
Umm, what?! You’re telling me that LucasArts would rather focus on technology than a storyline?! NO WAY! According to this Wikipedia entry, LucasArts has only published/developed/licensed 73 Star Wars games and that doesn’t even include the expansion packs for several of the games! That can’t possibly be enough, can it????
Yeah, try something new LucasArts. Let’s see some adventure games! DOOOO IT!

Only 73??!?!? That’s a shame, really. They should milk the Star Wars cow a bit before going all story-mad methinks. Hippies! Bah!
