Leisure Suit Larry Coming to Your Mobile Phone

In a recent article written on Adventure Gamers, Vivendi Games put a press release that they will be putting out a couple adventure games that will be playable on a mobile phone. The two games being redone into a more lovely mobile version are The Incredible Machine and Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail.

According to Adventure Gamers, we won’t actually see Larry Laffer in this game… oh, no. He must have seriously pissed someone off, because in the mobile version, he’ll be replaced with his nephew, Larry Lovage. I’m kind of disappointed in this turn of events, because… dangit… I like Larry Laffer. He’s the original and the only one who will live in my heart FOREVER. What’s funny, is that Larry Lovage actually LOOKS like Larry Laffer… so, why not just keep him as Larry Laffer? I don’t know. You can never tell with these big companies.

There will also be new parts of the game that we never saw in the original Love For Sail. Adventure Gamers mentions some type of air plane voyage, which is completely new content. Can’t wait to see what they come up with!

If you’re into mobile gaming, it looks like Vivendi’s mobile games website has all sorts of games you can play…

The game is due out sometime within the next few months.
