Joy of Joys - My First DS!

by Amber on October 23rd, 2007

Do you know what is totally sweet? EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENTS! And you know what’s so sweet about early birthday presents? YOU GET COOL STUFF. Like this:

Aren’t camera phone pictures the best?

That’s right, my friends. I have finally received my very own Nintendo DS. And it is RED! YES! It also came with the new Zelda game, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Well, they didn’t come together in a package or anything. They came seperate. I got the DS box first and then I got the Zelda box. It wouldn’t make much sense to get Zelda first, because then I would’ve been like “Oh, well, thanks for your kind thoughts, but I don’t have a DS. Now let me go cry.” No. Got the DS first and a game.

Oh, I also got my very own thumb… if you couldn’t tell by the picture. Okay… the thumb wasn’t a birthday present. It was already attached to my arm. I bet you were disappointed to find out that I wasn’t actually a freak of nature, born with no thumbs. Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but both thumbs are still firmly attached to my hands.

So, my friends… if you have any sweet assed DS games you like to play, let me know which ones they are and then maybe I TOO can be cool like you can play that game.

Argh. A red DS Lite and Zelda. I can live not having a red DS Lite, but not having enough cash for Zelda sucks eggs.

Congrats on your DS Amber! And advanced Happy Birthday!

Ooh, you should try Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. Forget the sequel, it’s just a GBA port. The first game was teh c00l. It lets you take advantage of the handheld’s touchscreen controls and microphone.

Justice for All didn’t have any of that. The sequel is still fun for a fan like me, but I had high hopes for JFA and it didn’t deliver.
