Dreamfall Chapter Questions Answered

If you’re curious to know a little bit more about the new chapter games to come out called, Dreamfall Chapters, Ragnar Tornquist, the brilliant mind behind the Dreamfall series has decided to answer a few questions that people have had on his blog. Ragnar decided to answer several questions, because he’s sick and tired of people making assumptions and the like, so he’s decided to set some people straight.

Here’s a brief recap:

• Ragnar would like everyone to know that this game isn’t coming in “episodes”, but in “chapters”. Hopefully this means that each chapter will be longer than 2 hours.
• Ragnar will not be the lead developer of this series of games. He points out he wasn’t the lead developer on Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, but he will definitely be involved in the entire process as a writer/director/producer.
• There will probably be a rather long wait for the release of this game, so we must be patient.
• Ragnar says that most of the plot written out and set in stone and will be working on subplots in his spare time.
• Ragnar doesn’t like negative people.

Really people… why must you be so negative towards episodic games? Or chapter games, for that matter. At least you’re getting something which is a whole lot better then getting a big fat nothing. Be positive! Positivity is good!
