Don’t Runaway… Runaway 2 is here
If you live in one of my favorite parts of the world, the United Kingdom, you can actually go out to the store now and buy Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle, according to Adventure Gamers. The game has a generally very cartoony feel that is usually a perfect fit for adventure games. I feel that the cartoonier the game, the more playable it shall be in the future. I mean, just look at The Curse of Monkey Island. You can play that game over and over and never be tired of it. Well, maybe if you played it every day for like a year, it could get boring, but you catch my meaning.
Now, I know you’re impatient… hell I’m impatient, too. Us U.S. citizens will have to wait a bit longer for the release of the US version of Runaway 2, but I have good news. You only have to wait until March 12th for the US release. I mean, that’s only like 3 days in the future. Sure, lots can happen in 3 days. I could be hit by a beer truck, for instance. I am, however, pretty confident that won’t happen. You see, beer trucks are my friends and they tend to only spill beer for me onto the streets so that I may drink and drink and drink until I pass out. So, the only thing a beer truck could do to me is potentially give me alcohol poisoning, but that’s a risk I’ll have to take in the name of science.
I have no idea what that last paragraph was about. Please excuse my rambling.
In conclusion… the long awaited arrival of Runaway 2 is here. Let us rejoice.
