The Adventuress

Better Late Than Never…

by Amber on November 21st, 2007

Well, okay… this announcement by Adventure Europe was made like a week ago and I’m just NOW seeing this news. The news? Well, apparently Adventure Europe is once again hosting an Online Developers Conference, just like they had last year. What does this mean? Well, if you’re interested in the development of stuff - especially adventure games - then you can learn all the secrets that adventure game developers hold when they’re creating that oh so entertaining game for you to play.

We should all love them dearly for doing this!

So, who’s going to be attending? According to the announcement we’ll see the following development companies:

  • Alcachofa Soft (The Abbey)
  • Anaconda Games (Overclocked, Mata Hari, Gray Matter)
  • Autumn Moon Entertainment (A Vampyre Story)
  • Crimson Cow (A Vampyre Story, The Abbey)
  • Crystal Shard Studio (A Tale of Two Kingdoms)
  • Daedalic Entertainment (A new Beginning)
  • Deck 13 (Ankh series and Jack Keane)
  • Digital Media Workshop (Prominence)
  • Faraway Studios (Until I’m Gone)
  • Frictional Games (Penumbra series)
  • Fusionsphere Systems & Animation Arts (Secret Files Tunguska 2)
  • Future Games (Reprobates_)
  • Juniper Games/Steve Ince (Juniper Crescent)
  • Momentum AS (Culpa Innata)
  • Nucleosys Digital Studio (Scratches)
  • Pan Metron Ariston (The Exchange Student)
  • The Games Company / Silver Style Entertainment (Everlight)

Sweet healer of monkeys, that’s a lot of attendees! And who knows, maybe there will be more along the way… if we’re lucky.

If you’re interested in checking out this online event, it will take place from November 28th to December 1st. Read more about it here.
