Al Lowe’s Return???

I don’t know if you guys know who Al Lowe is, but he’s the guy that made such loveable characters as Leisure Suit Larry… and if you haven’t ever played Leisure Suit Larry, you don’t know what you’re missing.

I remember Leisure Suit Larry as one of those games as a kid that my dad wouldn’t let me play?

“Well, why can’t I play it dad?” says I at the tender age of 6.

“Umm… Why? Uh, you’ll have to wait until you’re older,” says the father.

And I cried.

Well, not really. I played Super Mario instead.

But, when I hit 15, I found out what the dealio was. Porn.

Well, maybe not porn porn. But there was a naked chick or two, a hooker and the use of condoms and those are the kind of adventure games I like to play. They were so bad, yet so good.

According to Gamasutra, an obscure invitation was sent out for a participant of E3 that said the following:

“Alloweha,” says the invitation. “A new company with a new game is Launching at E3 under the watch of a Legendary game designer known for creating Outrageously fun games that feature hi-Larry-ous characters With an undeniable knack for Entertaining millions of people…

Mmm, extremely mysterious. So… It can only mean one thing. Al Lowe shall be returning to game design and entertaining teenaged boys and girls with his adult humor. But, I guess we’ll only know for sure after the E3 conference.
