Adventure Gaming Classic presents - Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards - A Review
Man, that had to be the longest title EVER for a post! I wonder if Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is the longest title for a game ever? It’s gotta be pretty damn close! And look at that use of alliteration! I love me some tongue twisters. Oh yeah.
Anyways, let’s get back to the topic at hand! A review! That Adventure Classic Gaming did! On Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards!
Now as many of you may know, I’m a fan of the Leisure Suit Larry series. Why? Because I’m a pervert. And it’s an adventure game. And when you combine two things - my pervertedness and adventure gaming - you get a game that the adventuress loves!
This review of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is probably one of the better ones I’ve read. I think that the article’s author, Marshall Ratliff, did a pretty good job summarizing the greatness that is Leisure Suit Larry. Who wouldn’t want to be a “a 40 year old disco dancing hipster” that only has one thing on his mind? And that is the “search for pixelated love”. I know I love me some pixels. I can’t really blame Larry, a guy who is made up of lots and lots of pixels, for wanting to find love in his pixelated world. Isn’t it hard enough to find love in the real world? It’s got to be even harder finding love in a pixelated world, because there are so few choices to look at. I mean, it’s really all up to the game developers as to how much love you’ll find in the pixelated world. And what if there’s just a bunch of prostitutes with stds wandering around the screen? Surely, you wouldn’t want to fall in love with that? Could you imagine a pixelated sexually transmitted crab coming right for your 1 pixel wiener? I think not.
