Adventure Gamer Holiday Wishlist
Alright, it’s only like… a week until Christmas and you’re wondering what to get for the adventure gamer in your family. Well, you’re lucky, because I’m about to give you a list of cool stuff you can buy for your happy adventure gamer right in this here entry. I’ll tell you what to buy and why you should buy it. I mean, I’m giving you facts here, people!
HERE WE GO:
- Nintendo DS Lite: Now, why would you want to buy such a thing? Oh, because it’s only probably the best gaming console for adventure gaming, that’s why! Almost every company that makes adventure games will port the game out to the Nintendo DS, because the use of the stylus for adventure games is awesome.
- Subscription to Gametap: Gametap is an awesome choice for an adventure gamer, because there are all sorts of adventure games that Gametap offers up to play. What’s so cool about Gametap is that a year subscription to like 900 games is only $59.95. Not only will your gamer have lots of fun, but you can be cheap, too!
- Sam and Max Season 2: As you know, every adventure fan would love you to pay for the entire Season 2 of Sam and Max, because Sam and Max is like the epitome of awesome adventure game play. You can pay for the entire season now for $34.95 and as each new episode comes out, your gamer will be able to download the next episode. While you’re at it, you can go to your local game store and pick up a copy of Sam and Max Season 1 for around $35.
- Phoenix Wright series: Since you’re going to buy everything on this list for your friendly gamer, then you’ll have a DS in which to play Phoenix Wright games on. Phoenix Wright might look like an incredibly silly game, but it’s actually a lot more fun then you would think. Each game probably has a playing time of around 10 to 20 hours, which is pretty damn good. And you’ll get a laugh or two at the ridiculousness of it all.
- Nintendo Wii: Okay, good luck finding one of these this time of the year. There might not currently be a whole heck of a lot of cool games to play on your Wii, but there are lots of adventure game developers out there who are trying to develop for the Wii. And the Wii is just good fun all around, especially when you’ve got friends over. And there’s booze involved.
And there you have it. If you buy everything on this list, your adventure gamer will love you and probably want to have your babies.
