Adventure Game Studio 2005 Awards

Adventure Game Studio (AGS) has held its annual award ceremony to find out the best AGS games of 2005.

Wow, it almost feels like the Oscars. I should’ve worn my red sequin dress. AH HAHAHAHA!

Now, I love when these awards come out for AGS, because then you can find the best indie games out there without having to play every game IN THE ENTIRE AGS DATABASE. I’ve tried doing that and probably 75% of the games scare me. A lot. And that’s never good.

Now, it looks like the winner of this years AGS Awards is Ben Jordan: Paranormal Investigator Case 4 - Horror at Number 50. Go ahead and click on that link and you can read ALL ABOUT IT… And then download it… which is what I’m planning on doing when I get home tonight, because I am an adventure game FIEND.

Also looks like a couple other games in the Ben Jordan series have one some AGS awards. Definitely looks like the series is worth checking out.

There were a lot of notible mentions, too, on this list of AGS games and I’m willing to bet that all of them are pretty darn fun to play. And they’re free, too! That’s sweet.
