Adventure Con gets a little cheaper

I received an email over the weekend letting me know that if I wanted to be apart of the first annual Adventure Con in Las Vegas from August 26th-August 29th, I could do so without breaking the bank. According to this email, the convention coordinator Howard Sherman talked those evil casino people into forgoing a $40,000 requirement to have food and drink at all conventions. This $40,000 investment sky rocketed the prices of Adventure Con to the point where everything looked a little scary as far as the pricing go.

Well, thanks to Howard Sherman, you can now get your fancy dancy Adventure Con tickets for a super good price of $69. If you were thinking about purchasing tickets, but didn’t want to pay the high prices, why don’t you go over to this page and check out all the deals.

Let’s remember all that you’ll be getting for that $69 price:

  • Scott Adams - The First Man to Bring Adventure Games to Home Computers
  • Al Lowe - Creator of The Legendary Leisure Suit Larry Adventure Games
  • Jane Jensen - Creator of the World-Famous Gabriel Knight Adventure Games
  • Chris Jones - A Pioneer in Interactive Movies and the Creator of Tex Murphy
  • The chance to drink all the booze you can buy!
  • Gambling!

I’m sure as we get closer to the convention date, more and more famous people from the adventure gaming world will happily jump aboard.
